During heading the 2nd meeting of the Central Committee for University of Technology independency, Higher Education reviewed academic, administrative and mechanisms of imple3nting the regulations of the independency of the Technology University, Ministry’s Deputy for Legal and Administrative Affairs and, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ateyah Saraj said.
Dr. Saraj added that the Ministry is keen on applying its strategy via benefiting from the international experiences and he added that the university will be the first experience in conducting the academic, scientific and administrative independency.
Dr. Saraj said that the meeting included reviewing the establishment of the university’s academic and administrative independence criteria and the mechanisms of applying them according to the laws and instructions and benefiting from the international experiences in this field. The meeting also discussed the ministry’s decision to select the technological university as the first institution to apply the academic, scientific and administrative independence experience.
Dr. Saraj confirmed on the importance of the independency of the universities leaderships in financial and administrative aspects, university and post graduate studies.
