Directorate of Training, merged Ministry of Science and Technology organized a course on X-ray diffraction and fluorine technology and its applications.

The course, in which a number of employees participated, included identifying of crystalline and non-crystalline materials, basics of crystallography, mathematical equations and X-ray applications such as qualitative and quantitative analysis, determination of crystal constants, particle size measurement and identification of remaining stresses.

The course reviewed methods of generating X-rays and how to detect the spectrum, as well as measuring its ranges within the electromagnetic spectrum.
