Iraqi Center for Genetics and Cancer Research, University of Al-Mustansiriyah delivered a lecture on the causes of anemia.

The lecture, in which a number of students and faculty members participated, reviewed causes of anemia such as green beans, lentils, beans and peas, some types of drugs, some viral and bacterial infections such as hepatitis.

The lecture also reviewed prevention methods of the disease such as avoiding the following; breakage of blood by not being exposed to oxidizing substances and infection of viral and bacterial diseases.
