A scientific team in the College of Science, University Al-Mustansiriyah conducted a scientific study on the effect of tea and BMI on blood rates in pregnant

The study aimed at determining the effect of drinking tea by pregnant women in some blood indicators such as hemoglobin and the rate and size of red blood cells as well as the effect of increasing the weight of pregnant women according to their blood indicators.

The study reviewed that RMI was increased in pregnant women who drank tea if compared with those who do not drink tea and decreased rates of HB , PVC%, MCV, MCH and MCHC in women who drink tea.
