College of Medicine, University of Misan organized an awareness symposium on pediatric basic life support.

The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, included how to care for newborn, the most important steps in the recovery and ventilation via a positive pressure and medicines in the recovery, provide oxygenation and ensure the stability of the vital relationship of pulse and breathing as well as preventing the occurrence of hypoxia during the birth to reduce death conditions.

The symposium recommended the importance of continuous training, holding of workshops and scientific conferences, focusing on scientific research and keeping pace with the latest developments and protocols adopted by the World Health Organization and UNICEF to raise the scientific efficiency of medical staff and nursing in health institutions.
