College of Media, Al-Iraqia University organized the 6th Scientific Conference on Intellectual Challenges in Media Production.

The conference, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, included three axes, the first one is on marketing media discourse in the digital era, the second one is on media and change strategies and the third one is on national identity in the media perspective.

The conference reviewed the role of the media in promoting the public relations activity between different institutions to build a balanced community and enacting media legislation in line with modern developments to ensure the protection of journalists and help them to access their sources of information.

The conference also reviewed addressing the issues of minorities in the media and supporting the reformist discourse against the ideas of hatred and conversion from the traditional media environment to digital media in order to open up to the use of the media that achieve the greatest amount of participation and information flow to serve the community.
