Department of Materials Engineering in the College of Engineering, University of Diyala held a symposium on manufacturing methods of hybrid composite material and their most advanced implementations.

The symposium reviewed hybrid composite materials, which considered one of the widespread materials in the recent period and their importance in scientific and practical fields as well as the implementations of these materials in the fields of engineering, medicine, aviation and armor systems.

The symposium highlighted the types of the reinforcing materials used in hybridization such as fibers, nanoparticles, platelets and others, which make the composite material highly mechanical besides increasing its strength and resistance to rust and corrosion.
