A research team in the College of Science, University of Al-Mustansiriyah conducted a study on preparing of a hybrid junction of magnesium oxide nanoparticles used in optical detector.

The study aimed at preparing of a new hybrid junction of magnesium oxide precipitated on porous silicon, based on the use of modern chemical method, with a view to use in optical detectors for a high response.

The study reviewed that the new magnesium oxide dispersant pure polycrystalline Nano-particles deposited on porous silicon that contributes to obtain a high response to the visible light and infrared detector.
