College of Engineering, Al-Iraqia University discussed a master dissertation on the performance of data transmission technology by light based on (FSO/OCDMA) technology and under the influence of weather factors using broadband frequencies by the postgraduate student, Mr. Bakr Khaled Nighemish. The dissertation reviewed mechanisms for developing a future technology for an optical system that uses visible light (VL) based on light-emitting diodes (LED) by the end user, as well as the possibility of data transmission rate technology with other radio frequencies. The dissertation concluded that the performance of the (Li-Fi) system was achieved on the basis of (CODMA/FOS) under effective weather conditions on the L-band frequency.
