Dr. Al-Aboudi Chairs Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council Committee, His Excellency Confirms Iraq & Its University Institutions' Readiness on Exchange Students Between The Two Countries

During chairing the periodic meeting of the Education, Youth and Sports Committee, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi followed up on the work of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council.


The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, confirmed the readiness of Iraq and its university institutions to exchange students between the two countries within the environment of cooperation and joint coordination and in light of indicators of international interaction with the Study in Iraq program.


For their part, the attendees reviewed the topics included on the agenda, including the Iraqi-Saudi scientific and technical incubator and the electronic scientific expertise system that includes the visiting professor category and the research centers accredited by both sides and training courses in the field of institutional and academic accreditation and a proposal for an Iraqi-Saudi electronic university.


For their part, the representatives of the Ministries and State’s institutions demonstrated a number of proposals within the context of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council related to exchanging expertise in the field of preparing training leaders (TOT) and twinning with training centers through mutual visits to review the modern training methods adopted in the two countries and establishing a smart school for integrated education for people with special needs and introducing artificial intelligence technology in the field of education and the administrative field and training in the field of investment and sports marketing and holding a sports week between the youth of Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
