The University of Baghdad Inaugurated an English-language law program at the College of Law, commencing in the 2026–2027, for first-year students wishing to pursue this track in their undergraduate studies.
The University highlighted that the initiative aligns with the College’s strategy to diversify legal education pathways and engage with global legal languages following the earlier introduction of a French-language law program, as well as enabling students to study legal disciplines in English, utilize relevant sources, references, and research materials, and gain insight into modern trends in legal thought and practice.
The College invited
the admitted students to the first year via the Central Admission system who
wish to study in English to register for the English-language program following
the announcement of admission results according to the established procedures
and regulations.
