His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani chaired a meeting of the ministerial committee tasked with establishing mechanisms for organizing the (evaluative examination) (standardized assessment) for corresponding academic departments across public universities, as well as private universities and colleges subject to this process.

Prof. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani demonstrated the necessity of establishing a comprehensive framework of academic and procedural regulations to ensure the integrity of the examination process and its results, while upholding fairness and equal opportunity for all students. 

His Excellency stressed the importance of employing precise scientific criteria in the development of examination questions tailored to specific disciplines and intended knowledge levels and leveraging the expertise of qualified faculty members and subject-matter specialists to draft, review, and evaluate these questions.

Prof. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani said that the evaluative examination serves as a key pillar for measuring academic achievement and verifying the effectiveness of academic performance across corresponding departments. 

His Excellency emphasized that the success of this initiative depends on strict adherence to ministerial directives and regulations, as well as the precise execution and monitoring of procedures, such measures are essential to enhancing the reliability of results, embedding standards of quality and academic rigor, and advancing the Ministry’s objectives to improve the educational environment and elevate the caliber of its graduates.
