Babylon University Master's Dissertation: On Programmed Cell Death Pathway

College of Science for Women, University of Babylon discussed a master dissertation on the programmed cell death pathway via using specific immune markers in patients with Helicobacter pylori by the postgraduate student, Ms. Shahd Ahmed.

The dissertation aimed at bettering understand the processes carried out by Helicobacter pylori bacteria and their effect on the programmed cell death process and its importance in the development of stomach diseases.

The dissertation highlighted an analysis of the programmed cell death pathway in patients with Helicobacter pylori using immune markers such as Caspase3, TNF-α and Fas and comparing them with healthy people.

The dissertation reviewed a study of 110 blood, stool and biopsy samples from patients diagnosed with the bacteria in addition to healthy people.

The dissertation demonstrated the highest positive concentration of 95.2% and 8.1%, respectively, as well as the presence of differences.
