During the graduation ceremony of Anbar University students, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi confirmed that the ministry and its Iraqi universities succeeded in attracting and accepting more than three thousand international students in Iraqi universities within two years within the Study in Iraq program.

Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed that the graduation of the thirty-fourth session at Anbar University, which coincides with the thirty-seventh anniversary of its founding, provides an appropriate climate to sustain the success achieved by those in charge of the university administration, which has charted its path towards excellence and representing its message, goals and vision in building generations, keeping pace with the contexts of development, and taking into account the methodology of institutional performance and programmatic accreditation.

His Excellency added that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is keen on developing the level of performance in its institutions over two years of tangible giving that has elevated the outputs and established the positive presence of these institutions in the fields of competition with their global counterparts.

Dr. Al-Aboudi renewed the Ministry's commitment and its continuation to develop the educational environment in all its fields, modernize the contexts of tests, automate their procedures, support documented achievements in the field of scientific publishing, and enhance plans, programs and curricula according to the variables of academic knowledge and scientific and technological developments.

His Excellency reviewed that the graduation ceremony included delivering a speech by the President of the University of Anbar, Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nida, a review of the graduates' processions, a procession of members of the college councils and faculty members and a procession of the University Council, the unified university oath was performed, the oath for graduates of the colleges of the medical group was recited, and the certificate awarding ceremony was held.

Dr. Al-Aboudi honored the top students from the university's colleges.

It is worth to be mentioned that the ceremony was attended by Minister of Industry, Governor of Anbar, Police Commander, Dean of Academics, several representatives and university presidents.
