During 4th Al-Jarh (the wound) Festival, organized by the College of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi emphasized the importance of drawing inspiration from the supreme values and principles embodied in the memory of the holy martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib (PBUH).
Dr.
Al-Aboudi reviewed that this momentous occasion calls for us to be part of a
context of awareness based on the supreme Islamic principles and considering
the uniqueness of belonging to Higher Education and Scientific Research and its
institutions, which work to provide an inspiring environment for generations
with a strong identity.
His
Excellency reviewed the importance of recalling the memory of the holy
martyrdom and drawing inspiration from it, the spirit from which the Master of
Guardians (PBUH) crafted an eloquence and approach from which flows wisdom that
humanity, regardless of its background draws.
It is worth
to be mentioned that Al-Jarh (the wound) festival, entitled "The Path of
Martyrdom," included speeches and activities that embodied the occasion of
the martyrdom of the Imam of the Pious, Ali Ibn Abi Talib (PBUH), as well as
the festival being attended by several PM, figures, faculty members and
students.
