During the joint press conference with his Yemeni counterpart, Dr. Khalid Ahmed Al-Wasabi in the capital, Baghdad, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Republic of Iraq and the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education and Vocational Training in the Republic of Yemen signed an executive agreement for 2025-2028.

His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi that the executive agreement includes providing scholarships to Yemeni students in Iraqi universities within the Study in Iraq program in various specializations, as well as exchanging experiences and training programs.

For his part, Dr. Al-Wasabi praised the level of cooperation provided by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the positive climates for attracting international students in the Study in Iraq program and strengthening the fields of cultural exchange between the two brotherly countries.
