The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research granted institutional accreditation for Mustansiriyah, Anbar, Karbala, Muthanna and Al-Mustaqbal Universities.

Higher Education reviewed that the decision stated “The Iraqi Council for Institutional Accreditation in the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Apparatus decided to grant institutional accreditation to Mustansiriyah, Anbar, Muthanna, Karbala and Al-Mustaqbal Universities in order to meet the standards of the educational institution's strategy, governance, management, financial and material resources, faculty members, students, scientific research, community service and curricula.

For his part, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi stressed on the keenness and commitment of universities on embodying the requirements of quality and accreditation, achieving the message and goals of the educational institution and keeping pace with the global aspect of academic education.

For their part, University Presidents appreciated the Ministry's interest in the quality of education and institutional performance in accordance with the requirements of development and its global goals.
