His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi met the Chairman of the Martyrs Foundation, Dr. Abdul-Ilah Al-Naili.

Dr. Al-Aboudi expressed his support for the segment of martyrs' families and his keenness on enabling them to obtain their legal entitlement to obtain various educational opportunities and achieve their scientific ambitions in the environment of Iraqi universities.

His Excellency said that the two sides reviewed a number of proposals related to the plan to accept martyrs' families in university undergraduate and postgraduate studies, as well as the curricula approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which shed light on the crimes that martyrs were victims of and the violations to which Iraqis were subjected.

For his part, the Chairman of the Martyrs Foundation praised the efforts indicated by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in embodying interest and keenness regarding what relates to the rights of martyrs' families and their entitlements stipulated by law.
