Institute of Informatics for Postgraduate Studies, University of Information Technology and Communications discussed a master dissertation on early diagnosis of kidney cancer by postgraduate student, Ms. Duha Abd Al-Ridha Kadhim.
The dissertation aimed at classifying kidney cancer using a crow swarm optimization algorithm and deep learning based on large medical images.
The dissertation reviewed a hybrid model that uses feature
extraction techniques in addition to crow swarm optimization techniques to
select the best features, as well as reducing human errors that may occur
during medical image analysis by experts in early diagnosis of diseases.
