University of Al-Mustansiriyah inaugurated the e-learning platform in the College of Arts, President of the University, Dr. Hamid Fadhil Al-Tamimi said. Dr. Al-Tamimi praised the exerted efforts of the College and the team in supervising the establishment of the platform, which refers to their great sense of responsibility towards the success of the e-learning experience. Dr. Al-Tamimi reviewed the importance of benefiting from the challenges due the Corona Virus and the team spirit among the university presidency and all colleges and research centers to enhance implementing modern technical means to contribute in creating an appropriate educational environment to meet the requirements of the advanced electronic education while preserving the elements of academic sobriety. For his part, the Dean of the College, Dr. Abdul Baqi Bader Nasser said that the college formed specialized teams and plans to develop the infrastructure of e-learning, since the first day of the Corona crisis which results in launching of the e-book club platform last week and the inaugurating of the e-learning platform that was designed and programmed by college staff with the efforts and self-capabilities. Dr. Nasser added that the platform, which was linked to both the official website of the university, social media platforms and the college library to enable pre-graduates and postgraduates to download video and print lectures, as well as it contained the links of telegram channels and codes of the Google Classroom’s lectures for all ten departments of the college and for all stages besides it includes a channel for the electronic workshop schedule in the college. It is worth mentioning that the Administrative and Scientific Assistants, Deans, Centers’ Heads, Departments and Faculty Members participated.
