In cooperation with Directorate of Research and Development, University of Al-Qadisiyah held a workshop on e-learning and distance education program within the projects of government program, University President’s Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Raheem Jabbar Al-Hamzawi said. Dr. Al-Hamzawi added that the workshop reviewed the importance of e-learning in promoting the academic level of faculty members and students and developing educational methods during disasters, crises and epidemics. Dr. Al-Hamzawi continued by saying that the workshop highlighted the benefits of e-learning and using of modern electronic technologies, the most important terms and developing the interaction of students with faculty members via electronic services such as (Google Classroom), which helps to create a virtual class that allows faculty members to conduct discussions with students at all levels of education. Dr. Al-Hamzawi reviewed the Ministry’s keenness on adopting e-learning features during current sensitive situation via creating virtual classes that are available in all operating systems.
