Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research participated in the Huawei ICT Skills Competition for 2018-2019 in China, Director-General’s Assistant of the Research and Development, Dr. Hana’a Abd Al-Hussein said. Dr. Abd Al-Hussein added that the Iraqi team passed the qualification tests to represent the countries of the Middle East with two other teams from Lebanon and Pakistan in the global finalists of the competition (Global Final Exam) which will include teams from North Africa, Europe and South America as well teams from East Asia. Dr. Abd Al-Hussein reviewed that the Iraqi team consisted of three students, Yusuf Ibrahim Ismail from Al-Iraqia University, Hamza Kamel Shahoth from Anbar University and Osama Maher from Nineveh University as well as the supervisor of the team, Dr. Omar Hussein Ismail from Al- Iraqia University.
