College of Engineering, University of Diyala held a workshop on the digital world during Corona Virus, the Faculty Member in the College, Dr. Hoda Mohammed Salih said. Dr. Salih added that the workshop reviewed the digital world, its various technologies and how to employ the digital transformation and development of technologies in fighting the Corona pandemic. Dr. Salih continued by saying that the workshop also reviewed the concept of digital transformation, increasing the effectiveness of social networking sites, the use of mobile applications, cloud computing, data analysis, security and the Internet of Things. It is worth mentioning that the workshop demonstrated a number of concepts and applications such as digital shopping, the concept of the new world, Corona and expectations from 2020-2025 and the positives of the virtual world as well as the development of modern technologies in the fight against Corona such as the 5G network, smart phone applications, unmanned medical aircraft, robot doctor, self-moving ambulances and screens smart cameras, platforms and AI algorithms.
