During a meeting with the Algerian ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Abdul Qader Bin Sha’aa, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib reviewed developing the academic cooperation between the two countries. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib highlighted the necessity of academic communication between the two countries and activating the fields of understanding and cooperation in the field of higher education. His Excellency said that the Ministry supports hosting the Algerian faculty members in the Iraqi universities as well as benefiting from the experiences of the Iraqi faculty members in the Algerian universities. For his part, Mr. Abdul Qader Bin Sha’aa said that the scientific importance requires activating and enhancing the fields of understanding and cooperation between the Iraqi and Algerian higher education institutions. Mr. Abdul Qader Bin Sha’aa expressed the need to support joint scientific research in the light of the scientific capabilities possessed by the both sides.
