Higher Education announced on the project of planting one million trees provided by the Directorate of Supervision and Scientific evaluation, Head of the Project of Planting Million Trees, Dr. Afaq Ibraheem said. Dr. Ibraheem aimed at planting the trees that bear the weather conditions of Iraq from north to south. Dr. Ibraheem added that the seeds were distributed to all Colleges of Agriculture in Iraq for the purpose of planting certain types of trees which appropriate for each province. Dr. Ibraheem reviewed that the project covers all the provinces of Iraq where trees were planted in universities, schools and government departments to improve the environment and beautify the cities, streets, parks, pavements of the streets in the Iraqi cities.
