College of Science, University of Kirkuk delivered a lecture on recycling of used materials.
The lecture, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, reviewed the importance of the recycled materials in preserving the environment via reusing waste materials in the houses, work and educational and industrial institutions and benefiting the recycling of the waste and remnants of the manufactured materials such as plastic, metal cans, glass, paper and others.
The lecture also reviewed the importance and disadvantages of recycled materials that the organic materials consisted the highest percentage of recycled waste such as paper, plastic, metal and glass besides the benefits of recycled materials in the economic development.
