College of Agriculture and Forestry, University of Mosul discussed a master dissertation on the effect of phosphorus, gibberellic acid and polyamine fertilizers on the growth of compound seedlings of Kufi apple by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Afraa Essam Saadallah.
The dissertation demonstrated the importance of these treatments in improving the growth and mineral content of seedlings.
The dissertation concluded that the best of these treatments were the concentrations of phosphate fertilizer and amino fertilizer, as they improved the characteristics of vegetative and root growth and the mineral content of seedlings, while gibberellic acid concentrations did not have any significant increase in the values of the studied characteristics.
