Technical Medical Institute –Baghdad, Middle Technical University held a workshop on nanotechnology applications in the medical and pharmaceutical fields. The workshop reviewed three axes, the first was on identifying the meaning of nanotechnology and femtoseconds, the second was on the knowledge of the properties of materials in the case of the enormous reduction in their size as well as its relation to cell specifications and the third was on the nanotechnology applications in the field of medicine in the treatment of oncology, eyes and others. The workshop recommended the necessity of studying the biological membranes within the organelles of the cell in chemical and physical terms, theoretical and Nano-science at all levels in the fields of science, pharmacy and medical specialties to parallel the rapid advancement internationally as it is an all-encompassing science for all sciences.
