National Council for the Accreditation of Medical Colleges (NCAMC) held in the College of Medicine, University of Babylon a symposium on the academic accreditation of medical colleges. The symposium reviewed the college's achievements, its progress towards achieving academic accreditation, self-evaluation and preparing the required evidence and data and writing the report. The symposium demonstrated the importance of academic accreditation, achieving national accreditation standards, as well as the organizational structure of the self-evaluation committees, their tasks, writing the evaluation report and submission for accreditation. It is worth mentioning that NCAMC was represented by Dr. Ihsan Muhammad and Dr. Ali Khairallah.
