College of Education, Al-Iraqia University organized an online workshop on medical imaging technology with radionuclides via Electronic Platforms, the Faculty Member in the College, Dr. Zena Jamil Rahim said. Dr. Rahim added that the online workshop reviewed the most important modern technologies used in medical imaging via using radionuclides, the mechanism of action of each of them and the most prominent procedures used in medical imaging. Dr. Rahim highlighted that the online workshop demonstrated the radionuclide imaging technique, examining the function of the organ to be imaged for the purpose of treating discovered diseases and medical conditions, identifying radionuclides and the advantages and disadvantages of their use in medical imaging, as well as reviewing the clinical procedures used in medical imaging via using radionuclides.
