A joint research team in the Universities of Al-Mustansiriyah and Information Technology and Communication conducted a joint study on designing a system for recommending suitable house devices depending on climatic conditions and relying on new algorithms. The joint study reviewed designing a new system via using smart algorithms capable of recommending the best devices to the user according to the weather conditions in the region or the country in which users live. The joint study included designing a modified algorithm of the cluster algorithms (k-means) and (Elbow) that have the ability to deal with the weights of climate impact variables, the energy prices of house’s devices, and distribute them automatically via Threshold parameter to the arranged groups according to their proximity to achieving work efficiency in the user's chosen area. It is worth mentioning that the joint research team included the faculty member in Al-Mustansiriyah University, Dr. Mithaq Talib Gataa and the faculty member and the researcher in the University of Information Technology and Communications, Dr. Mahdi Nassif and Mr. Bassem Amer.
