Department of Materials Engineering, University of Technology conducted a maintenance and installation for many suspended devices by the laboratory maintenance committee in the department. The rehabilitation process included two stages, first stage is on installing of the PS absorption instrument with two types of PG 500 flame instrument, which gives PPM accuracy and without flame and gives the accuracy of the PPR with the installation of all accessories. The second stage also included a comprehensive maintenance of the German-made programmed furnace, which works for 1200m, installing a new German-made Nabertherm furnace, which works up to 1700m and maintaining of an English-made carbolite furnace, which works for 1200m.
