College of Engineering, University of Al-Nahrain organized a workshop on implementing electronic library management software (KOHA). The workshop, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, reviewed the(KOHA), its features, some statistics about it, its international conferences and its basic elements, especially alphabetic indexing and organizing the borrowing and return of books in electronic form based on the serial number (bar code). The workshop also reviewed methods of importing bibliographic data for books from the Library of Congress through the Z39.5 software.
