College of Medicine, University of Al-Nahrain organized a symposium on antibiotics resistance.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers, specialists and postgraduates participated, reviewed how bacteria resists via using an international program, risks of antibiotic resistance in hospitals and the proper use of antibiotics.
The symposium also reviewed the need to focus on epidemiology and percentages of bacterial resistance in the antibiotics and implementing extracts and new drugs on various types of bacteria.
