In cooperation with Thi-Qar and Al-Karkh of Science Universities and the Center for the Revitalization of the Marshlands and Wetlands in the Ministry of Water Resources, Al-Nahrain Research Center for Renewable Energy, University of Al-Nahrain organized its international online conference on sustainable development of the marshes in Iraq, President of the University, Dr. Mohammed Sahib Mahdi Al-Taei said. Dr. Al-Taei Added that the online conference reviewed the environment of the marshes because of their great importance in improving the environment and climate factors in Iraq through the exploitation of modern industrial technology to preserve and develop the cultural heritage via the means of renewable energy sources. Dr. Al-Taei Added that the online conference highlighted the axes of applied and environmental sciences, sustainable energy and architecture, water management and environmental studies, economic studies, investment and tourism and antiquities.
