In cooperation with College of Engineering, University of Al-Nahrain, College of Fine Arts, University of Al-Qadisiyah delivered a joint lecture on the relation between music and architecture by the Faculty Member in the College of Engineering, Dr. Suzan Abdel-Hassan. The joint lecturer addressed the psychological and pedagogical aspect of music and the relation between the art of music and architecture in terms of their reliance on the same aesthetic principles such as hormonal, rhythm and others. The joint lecture demonstrated a historical narration of the emergence of music and its philosophy across ancient civilizations and the most important philosophical theorizing in this field, as Plato considered musical art to be one of the main lofty motives for human beings, which is the truthfulness that existed since the beginning of creation and through which the world knew the order and achieved balance for it, while Pythagoras believed that the whole universe is a number and tune.
