College of Medicine, University of Al-Qadisiyah held a symposium on reducing medical mistakes in diagnosing autism. The symposium highlighted methods of diagnosing autism via doctor to perform non-laboratory tests of the child's mental development and to conduct direct interviews with parents to learn about the social skills, language and behavioral abilities of the child so that the doctor can cooperate with parents to diagnose the disease in the early years of the child's age. The symposium recommended raising awareness in the diagnosis of autism, the autism spectrum, check psychological condition of the infected child and determine what is make the child happy as well as developing self-confidence, independency and the suffering of the autistic child from loss of confidence.
