During a participation in the World Conference on treating epilepsy in Washington DC, scholar from the College of Engineering, University of Babylon to the University of Kentucky, USA, Mr. Ameer Fareed Al-Bakri obtained the Young Inventor Award by American Epilepsy Society, Dean of the College, Dr. Mostafa Balasim Mahmoud said. Dr. Mahmoud added that the awarded on conducting a precise geometric method to take brain signals from the surface of the head to be inserted into a special software to be analyzed then to obtain an approximate detection of the cause of epilepsy in the brain to help the surgeon in performing surgery and removing epileptic cause.
