Department of Electronic Communication, University of Al-Qadisiyah held a symposium on the threats of cyber-terrorism. The symposium, in which a number of faculty members and students participated, aimed at identifying the risks of cyber –terrorism, how to deal with it and ways to combat hostile activities via setting a specific strategy The symposium recommended activating the supervisory role in blocking suspicious websites, enacting laws and legislations for this purpose and inaugurating an awareness unit in each university to organize awareness symposiums and lectures for students to address misguided and misleading ideas.
