College of Medicine, University of Al-Qadisiyah held a symposium on developments in treating hypertension.
The symposium, in which a number of faculty members, researchers and doctors participated, aimed at identifying blood pressure as a chronic condition which leads to increasing arterial blood pressure in form of a chronic health disorder affects about 30% of the adults worldwide according to WHO survey.
The symposium recommended eating healthy meals, quit smoking and rationing salt.
