During hosting the visiting professor, Dr. Shamil Mohsin Hadi from the American University of Auckland, College of Basic Education, University of Babylon held a workshop on causal dynamics and autism. The workshop, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, included delivering a lecture entitled "autism spectrum disorders" that highlighted frightening numbers of children suffering from autism in Iraq. The workshop reviewed the dynamic brain modeling, brain as an integrated dynamic system, mechanism of transmission of neurotransmission to the brain and the importance of broadening the horizons of cooperation to establish a joint research center for autism and to benefit from the experiences of the visiting professor and to involve faculty members in developmental training courses to understand the mechanism of dealing with these categories besides providing the best services to the people of Babylon.
