Two researchers in the Universities of Karbala and Baghdad obtained a patent on manufacturing a new device to check and diagnosis skin diseases via using an infrared point thermometer. The patent reviewed that the device is manufactured for medical purposes to contribute in checking and diagnosing of dermatological diseases. The patent highlighted that the device is a valuable tool in the evaluation of multiple diseases such as psoriasis, vitiligo and distinguishing among different types of skin tumors with low testing costs compared with other advanced tests.
