University of Baghdad obtained the ranking of the British Times for publishing more than seven thousand international researches in Scopus. The University obtained the ranking among the world universities that have been contested and evaluated according to the indicators of the ranking for 2019 which is the second best ranking after the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of Shanghai China. The University obtained for the first time the 801 rank out of the 1250 international universities. It is worth mentioning that the University of Baghdad published more than7300 researches in the Scopus and it achieved a distinguished presence and competition in other international ranking such as QS, RUR and Webometrics ranking as well as achieving advanced ranking in the competition with Arab universities.
