College of Education for Pure Sciences of Ibn Al-Haitham, University of Baghdad organized a workshop on the importance of the borax glass and its implementations in absorbing harmful radiation and preserving health of the individual and environment.
The workshop reviewed identifying the term of "glass" in general, its general characteristics, its basic components or perfectionism such as colors and enhancers, its natural and industrial sources, its manufacturing mechanisms and its main types.
