In cooperation with the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, Urban and Regional Planning Center for Postgraduate Studies, University of Baghdad held a symposium on the future of housing and the need for accommodation in the Iraqi cities.
The symposium addressed problem of the housing, its negative impact on the community and the operational, administrative, economic, social, health, psychological, security and environmental aspects.
The symposium reviewed updating national housing policy program in Iraq, 2017 and rehabilitant of random housing communities in Iraq as well as role of modernizing urban and rural housing standards of future housing in Iraq.
