College of Agriculture, University of Basra held a symposium on implementing solar energy in managing farms in remote areas.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, included delivering a lecture on the possibility of benefiting from solar energy in farms, poultry halls and greenhouses and generating electricity power instead of traditional power generators.
The symposium reviewed the economic return that provides alternative energy investments as an energy source instead of fuel and diesel generators, as well as reducing air pollutants because they are eco-friendly.
