College of Agriculture, University of Basra organized a symposium on Tuberculosis.
The symposium, in which a number of students and faculty members participated, included identifying the tuberculosis, infection, ways of transmission and treatment and statistics of spreading of the disease in a number of areas of Iraq, as well as health programs to combat the disease and how to deal with various cases.
The symposium aimed at identifying the pathogenic bacteria that can be cured after treatment and even though it is a contagious disease.
