College of Medicine, University of Basra organized its 16th International Medical Scientific Conference, Ministry’s Deputy for Scientific Research Affairs, Dr. Foud Qassim Mohammed said. Dr. Mohammed added that the Ministry is keen on supporting the colleges of the medicine and developing their faculty members via organizing courses and workshops in light of modern medical techniques. Dr. Mohammed continued saying that the Conference, in which a number of researchers participated, reviewed 79 scientific researches in the fields of cosmetic surgery, obesity surgery, assisted reproduction, joint replacement, oncology, metabolism, feeding problems and reproductive medicine as well as holding a pharmaceutical exhibition during the conference.
