Center for Continuing Education, Basra University of Oil and Gas organized a training course on safety supervisor at the oil work sites.
The course, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, aims at defining the role of the supervisor of occupational safety in the oil workplaces via the concept of planning work, organizing, directing, supervising, monitoring and measuring performance, analyzing the risks at the work site, evaluating and controlling them via setting controls and avoiding the risks of work in oil installations and different work sites.
