His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Abdul Jalel Al-Esa said that at the time when our country is approaching to achieve the victory against Da’aish and dealing with the repercussions war against terrorists, we realize that the victory and success have the same face and one result in the war of our valiant security forces, public mobilization and universities against Da’aish.

 Dr. Al-Esa added that the Ministry is keen on achieving its scientific mission in the educational institutions and achieving its goals that require high quality education and efficient management away from all projections by external non -academic goals agendas.

 His Excellency confirmed on that the universities will not be part of the political wave and not to exploit them upon the public interest.

 Dr. Al-Esa said that the ministry is keen on reconsidering the university leaderships which made the universities non-independent and turned them into early electoral facilities that threaten the Iraqi academic identity.
